Has Anyone asked Obama, "What Change?"

People seem almost in a trance when it comes to their infatuation with Obama's "Change" theme. Most when asked can't even ask the question, "What Changes?"

The word "Change" in politics usually means something truly novel, something no one else has ever considered or thought of, and it implies a cure all, a fix for everything that is not right. Does this really apply to Obama?

Let's see what kind of change Obama's election might foreshadow from remarks along the campaign trail by Obama, his wife, entourage and pals:

Wife: For the First time in my life I am proud of America!

• The opposite of proud of is ashamed of. What breath of fresh air and sense of change eminates from a First Lady who has spent most of her life, until now, being ashamed of the very Country she wants to represent as its First Lady. This is definately change, because I doubt that there has ever been a First Lady who has spent most of her life being ashamed of this Country. Would she have preferred that we were divided, half speaking Japanese, and half German, since there was an agreement between Japan and Germany during WWII to spit the Country along the Mississippi, half going to Japan, and the other half going to Germany. Is she not proud of the sacrifices made by Americans to prevent that, and the enslavement that would have ensued without that hard fought victory?

• Was Obama's wife not proud of the sacrifices of WWI, the Civil War which freed her people, or the Revolutionary War which gave us the freedoms of this great land? Were these sacrifices for naught, something to be ashamed of? Will this finicky love for this Country be the change Americans really want? Is this the kind of fair weather friend we want for a First Lady, and is just having her husband as President the only thing this Country has done to gain her respect? Will he have been the only good President?

Pals-

• The Terrorist who bombed the Trade Center has been a friend for over 20-years to Obama, and he is totally proud of what he did, and wished he could have bombed more successfully and comletely. After 9/11 is this kind of pal the so-called change Obama will bring to Washington, an American hating First Lady, and Friends!

Rev Wright-

• It is great that the USA has had to suffer horrific hardships, 911 proportion sized disasters, because it is "Chickens Coming to Roost", our penance for having successful white people who have played a major role in leading this Country and its enterprises, inventions, and growth, and spiritual leadership. Wright fails to consider the great contributions of his race, as well...Amerian Jazz Music, Sports and Olympic Leadership and heroes, sacrifices made on the battlefields, agriculture, education, and inventions, as well. Where else could slaves be freed, and allowed to struggle and work their way to the top, if they are willing as everyone else is willing to work hard, be honest, and never quit chasing their dreams. Change, you say, Obama? Could your change be putting us back on the trail of racism, prejudice, get "Whitey", pay-back? We have worked so hard for equality in every phase of American life, not should it go beyond that to make it easier for Americans of color than those say of a white color? Is change going to mean making it bad or worse to be white, as whitey needs to be punished, have chickens roost on the white guys? I thought the goal was color blindness, not have our color differences exaggerated! Is this the change Obama brings to America? Racism, racial hatred, bigotry with just the sides changed? Your turn, now?

Opra -

• Opra has virtually been buying Obama the White House, so basically Obama is bought and payed for by Opra. One of the things that has cast a pall on politics in Washington is the strong role played by special interests. Is having one giant special interest, Opra, part of what Obama says will bring change to Washington. Is that it, one giant holding Obama hostage, and inflicting her special interests on America?

Change, you say....

1. What Change is there to the typical Tax and Spend Liberal pitch that Obama seems to have adopted as his mantra for change? No matter how you couch taxing and spending upticks, it still has the same old un-changed results, all negative! Obama was agreeably the most Liberal of eveyone in Congress. Is that something new, a cure all for America, the heart of his so-called catch word, Change?
2. Lets look at what tax the successful people more and give to the indolent, called income redistribution, does to America. It dries up money for investments, inventions, the start-up of new enterprises. Small business does more business than all the Fortune 500 companies combined, and now you want to punish the backbone of American business strength. Small business is the biggest employer, the highest taxpayer, and doesn't run offshore to avoid union wage increases. They put their money in local banks, and provide services pertinent to what goes on here in America. Why should they be punished with higher minimum wages which usually go to illegal immigrants anyway and keep our kids out of the workplace longer?
3. Obama wants to double capital gains taxes. That will crash the Stock Market, as people flee from the market and invest elsewhere where their returns will be better. Is that another change that is supposed to be good for Americans? Obama, the economic lightweight that he is, never having had a real job outside government or charities, will likely bring about a stock market crash worse than 1929! Everyone is talking about it! Look at the investment in the Market after Bush's tax incentives. All those dollars go to support business and their research and growth.
4. Gas is expensive beyond reason, not because of Bush, but because of Clinton vetoeing all the bills designed to encourage oil exploration and production, and now, 10 years later because of that we are becoming slaves to foreign oil, and the price of it could put us out of business. Obama still says he will not budge on rapid deployment of oil drilling rigs to get us independent of foreign oil. Is that the change he is looking for, to cripple us at the pumps? The second the oil countries know we are going after our own oil and energies, they will lower the costs of oil to try to coax us out of vast drilling which would put them America on the chopping the block. Punishing the Oil Companies is not the answer, rather the USA buying the oil at cheap prices, and selling it to our Oil Companies at cost, with the understanding that they will pump their profits into new and aggressive drilling. Coal and Nuclear energy ought to be employed full speed ahead. We have beneath our soils enough energy for over 300 years, 3 centuries, and that ought to be ample time to develop alternative forms of renewable energy. Obama will fight all that, and is that what he means by change, leaving us prostrate before the oil middle men. How will taxing the Oil Companies more help us, when it will just cost more to buy it? They will have less money for drilling and exploration!
5. Health Insurance, change our health system to Socialized Medicine which has turned into such a disaster in England and Canada where people die waiting for their turn to get desparately needed equipment and doctors. Women in England are being forced to go back to mid-wives due to the lack of OBGYN's. Is this the change Obama is going to foist on us?
6. Oil Crisis like never before with gas prices skyrocketing solved by Obama's refusal to allow any new drilling when we have energy sources that would give us energy, gas, power for over 300-years? This change would enslave us all and hold us hostage, and could bring us down completely with truckers unable to afford to deliver their goods, people unable to go to work, take children to school, shop.

So, ask yourself, what changes would Obama give us that were really good, would really help us to be better off. Would pulling out of Iraq and cowtowing to terrorists and Jihad be a change that would make us more safe and comfortable? Big Government who takes all our money because they think they can spend it better than we can? Is that the change we want? If Obama and his wife move into the White House, it could be the end of a Nation, our Strength, our independence we spent so much of our history fighting for! When the final chickens come to roost in the White House, it could be the final act of retribution upon us! We could be doomed and never know again what we take so easily for granted.
